Scrapefruit is a sports statistical and data analysis platform currently operating in an open beta testing phase. The Service generates mathematical correlations and probability estimates based on historical sports statistics and publicly available bookmaker odds.
The purpose of the Service is exclusively for information provision, data analysis, and entertainment. The Provider does not organize betting, is not a bookmaker, and does not provide financial, investment, or gambling advice.
Certain contents of the Website are available without registration, while more detailed statistical analyses are accessible exclusively after a free registration.
There is no age restriction tied to registration; however, the Provider explicitly draws Users' attention to the fact that sports betting is restricted to individuals aged 18 (or a higher age limit) in Hungary and most other countries.
The User must provide real data (a valid email address) during registration and keep their account password confidential.
The User may use the statistical data, probability estimates, and all other information provided by Scrapefruit exclusively at their own risk.
The Provider makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of the estimates generated by the mathematical models, the actual outcomes of sports events, or the success of any strategy against bookmakers.
The Provider completely and expressly excludes its liability for any direct or indirect financial losses, or lost profits arising from sports betting, gambling, or any other activity undertaken by the User based on the Service's data.
Sports betting carries high risks and can cause addiction. The Provider does not encourage gambling in any form.
All content found on the Scrapefruit website, including the results of mathematical algorithms, the design of the site, logos, and databases, is the exclusive intellectual property of the Provider.
By registering for free, the User receives access to the data solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. It is strictly prohibited to manually or automatically extract (e.g., data mining, "scraping") in bulk, resell, or publicly share the site's content on other platforms without the prior written consent of the Provider.
As the Service is currently operating in a testing phase, the Provider reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time, suspend the operation of the platform, alter features without prior notice, or permanently shut down the Service.
The Scrapefruit service follows the principle of data minimization. We exclusively process data that is technically essential for the operation of user accounts.
The Website exclusively uses technical (functional) cookies that are strictly necessary for maintaining the login state and ensuring the secure operation of the closed system. These cookies are not capable of tracking the user's web behavior and are automatically deleted (expire) within a maximum of 1 hour after closing the browser.
The legal basis for data processing is the voluntary consent of the User [GDPR Article 6(1)(a)], which the user grants by actively ticking the checkbox on the registration interface.
Passwords provided with personal email addresses are not stored in a raw, readable format. The Data Controller stores the passwords in the database encrypted using a one-way, irreversible cryptographic process (hashing). The password cannot be accessed or known by the Data Controller or any third party.
The Data Controller treats personal data strictly confidentially. Under no circumstances do we rent, sell, or—except for legal obligations—transfer data to any third party.
Data processing continues as long as the User holds a registered account on the Scrapefruit website.
Account Deletion: The User can currently initiate the permanent deletion of their account and all personal data by sending a request to the email address provided in Section 1. Upon receiving the request, the Data Controller will promptly and irreversibly delete the account. (In future developments, this function will be available automatically directly from the user profile.)
Under the GDPR, the User has the right to be informed, the right to rectification of data, and the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), which can be exercised via the contact details provided in Section 1.
